The SAMCRO has hired a milf lawyer. The first talks with the MILF have been “cordial” according to the SAMCRO. But it should be noted that the MILF will not prevent its members from seeking legal help on their own. The group has killed 14 soldiers, ten of them beheaded, at Al-Barka, a known MILF lair. This is why SAMCRO should hire a milf lawyer, who will provide a more unbiased perspective.

SAMCRO hires a milf lawyer

After Jax loses the gun deal, SAMCRO decides to hire Milf Lawyer Ally Lowen to help them defend their interests. Lowen is also working with the club’s long-time lawyer Rosen. Clay is in protective custody following the murder of Damon Pope. He’s being represented by retired US Marshall Lee Toric, who is also the brother of a murdered nurse, Otto. Toric wants Clay to cooperate with him to build a case against SAMCRO. At first, Clay rebuffs the offer, but he eventually relents after Gemma demands a meeting to discuss their future.

First talks with the MILF are “cordial”

House Minority Leader Edcel Lagman said President Aquino broke his promise by meeting the MILF lawyer and taking risks that could have been avoided. He also said the meeting will give the government no tangible benefit. It is unclear what will happen next. But Leonen commended the MILF for being principled and bringing out the draft compact. His comments come on the heels of a statement issued by the MILF on Thursday.

The MILF went on a rampage in Central Mindanao last year, leaving scores dead and hundreds of thousands displaced. The Supreme Court threw out a controversial Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MOA-AD), which would have given the rebel group control of a vast area. Segui and Iqbal acknowledged that the MOA-AD was not signed. But they stressed that the Philippines’ government is committed to peace.

MILF will not prevent its members from seeking legal assistance on their own

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) will not stop its members from seeking legal assistance on their own, even though the government is filing murder charges against it. In January, MILF members killed 44 police commandos while attempting to arrest Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan. The day-long battle in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, resulted in the deaths of 17 rebels and five civilians.

The MILF has also said that the MOA-AD signed by the Filipino government is binding on it. This argument is absurd because the MOA-AD contains unenforceable provisions. Even if the MOA-AD was unenforceable, the MILF would still be able to present its claim before an international tribunal. This is an important point. MILF will not stop its members from seeking legal help on their own, but it should never prevent them from doing so.

Al-Barka is a known MILF lair where 14 soldiers were killed – ten of them beheaded

The killing of Najim’s family was shocking, given that the MILF accuses the Marines of murdering a civilian. The MILF has also accused the Marines of killing a mayor, Karam Jakilan, who was on his way back to his hometown from Basilan. This incident happened in Al-Barka, a known MILF lair where 14 soldiers were killed – ten of them beheaded – in July 2007.

The government and the MILF have continued to launch offensives against the Islamic rebel group, leading to the deaths of dozens of civilians. At least eighty-five people were killed in the August clashes between government forces and the MILF. More than 70 civilians were also killed in the attacks. More than one hundred government soldiers were killed during the fighting, while up to a hundred and fifty MILF fighters were also killed in clashes with government troops
