We bought this home from algae I in September it was supposed to be ready on November 16th and was not delayed 48 days I don’t know how this house got signed off the carpentry ship to the paint to installations to little less toilet seats are horrible this was supposed to be and happy experience for my husband and I and turned out to be a nightmare we need help and advice on what to do LG I think holds Secrets everyone we talked to her neighborhood has had the same problems our home is supposed to be brand new I know everything’s not perfect but close enough to perfect should be sufficient I have Lou take everywhere in our home only on the outside haven’t got to the outside I haven’t I haven’t got should be outside yet with the blue tape it’s just horrible What a Feeling that experience something so awful this isn’t our first time new homeowners my husband being a professional painter retired from the city of San Francisco knows exactly what they did with the paint job it sucks the paint is leading through the sheetrock outside is horrible the garage sounds like it’s going to fall off we just need some legal advice or help what to do we’re broke from this house we had to put up an exiting extra 17 grand because we got a low appraisal my husband is a retired veteran and we took a VA loan out and I hopefully will get the value of our home if we ever tried to sell this home trust me no one would buy it down depressed and stressed please help.

  6. Due to poor ventilation and lack of proper insulation my new build is now mold ridden. My family and I are being displaced for mold remediation which at this time . This is costing us over 20 K out of pocket not to mention replacing the dry wall and all lost housing items.

  7. I live in El Reno, OK. I bought a home 5 months ago and have continual problems. First night, my A.C. broke down in a 105 degree temperature. A few weeks later, my walls was sweating with water. I have foundation issues as well. The head guy here says if I use my sheet rock warranty now when I haven’t been here but five months, I can’t use it at the 11th month time-frame. Sad. These people were really after veterans loans.

  8. We need help asap Lgi refused to fix a massive list of warranty claims and left us with over half our house having black mold . They refused to fix it . We are original owners and have requested help from day one . Nothing we have all been sick due to the mold and the house wasn’t properly sealed so moisture is entering the roof and the roof started loosing shingles which exposed the sheeting and there where 3/6 “ gaps in the roof . 2×4 studs stacked on top of each other on a load bearing wall looks like they ran out of wood . Sub floor is rotted in areas and insulation had mold in the ceiling the furnace is way to small for the square footage of our house so our bills are 200/400 a month just to heat is . We desperately need help

  9. My daughter bought a house in Seacrest in Texas City, Texas. There’s all kinds of mold in their house in the attic. It was from improper insulation and improper installation of AC. Perhaps it’s time for a class action lawsuit. We finished with an environmental specialist and waiting for final reports. We’ve had to purchase air cleaners just to improve the quality of the air because now the kids are sick.

Almost all the homes have electrical, roofing, siding, yard grading, sheet rock, stairs, outside door trim rot, cheap flooring, and etc… I have never been more disappointed in my life. LGI sold over 400 of us (in ONE GA neighborhood) shoddy homes with leaks, terrible foundations, horrendous erosion problems due to terrible grading, siding that has not withstood normal wind and storms, lied to most of us about our homes, what they would include or look like such as siding, brick, window screens, fences, sodding, dead shrubs and trees, structure, extras that were promised, internal and external leaks, paint, 1-year warranty coverage, no ADA compliant sidewalks, what would happen to the streets, financing, HOA dues and payments, CC&Rs, and used deceptive and aggressive sales tactics up to and including lying during walkthrough that everything would be taken care of post closing and then it never was. Once that was done, they used hateful people for warranty claims that would threaten residents. I would love to be contacted for all of us. I believe at least half (if not more) of us would consider suit.

  13. Same complaints asIve been reading, worst landscaping ever, they weeds for grass sod. It’s so embarrassing, Shrubbery dead, air-conditioning problems, cheap flooring, poor air quality. If you cook fumes swell up in my bedroom, tiny toilets, Windows font lock properly. Furnace in attic , no step ladder, So, much wrong , I’m tired of listing. Indoor pluming leaks in two rooms, as soon as we moved in. Crappy neighbors HOA not enforced, etc. Sold the house we picked, just put us where they wanted us I hate the grass, etc.
