If you are someone who has been affected by being cheated on eBay, then it is time that you look for a good lawyer to represent you on your eBay class action lawsuit. There are a lot of firms that are ready to offer you their services in this regard.

If you have not been able to locate the right firm yet, then you can look for a couple of firms first. Do not just settle for the first one you see. Instead, make sure that the firm you hire has a proven track record.

If you find a firm that is willing to help you with the settlement of your case, then there are still a lot of things you need to do before you can even contact them. First, you need to find out how long they have been working in the field of law and what they are capable of doing.

Law firms usually have a certain amount of experience in handling such cases, so it is important to check whether these law firms are experienced or not. After all, the lawyers on the other side of the line will be well aware about how long they have been in the field and how many cases they have handled.

So, if you have decided that you are going to contact these law firms, you need to ask them for some references of the cases they have handled and how long they have been handling them. This will help you to have an idea as to whether the law firm will help you or not.

Once you have got hold of some references of the law firm, then you can contact the firm. You can explain that you have been cheated by the eBay company and that you want to file a case against them, and this will lead to them contacting you for further information.

In this process, you must always make sure that you discuss the details with the law firm about the process that is involved with the settlement. Make sure that you talk about the steps required for the settlement in detail.

Also, you need to ask the firm whether the settlement will be through a court or through arbitration. As many people claim that settlement through arbitration is the best way to go, but this is not correct. In fact, in many cases, the only thing that a settlement will bring about is the reduction of the compensation you are entitled to receive.

In this manner, the law firm will help you get a lot of things through the settlement, including the reduction of your compensation, if you have been cheated. Therefore, it is very important that you get as much information about the settlement process as you can before you finally make a decision about the settlement.

  1. i have been on ebay since 1997. i have been abused by this company just with a seller account. believe me they are getting worse by the day. i cant even begin to explain what they have pulled on me in the last ten years including several times recently where people return empty returns with delivery confirmation . as soon as the return is scanned, they take the money out of my account. i have no say in the matter whatsoever. the offenses are so BLATENT. i cant believe they are getting away with this EXAMPLE (just one) : person ordered book and said it was the wrong item
i looked the person up online (where the original parcel was sent) and this person was convicted for manslaughter serving time as we speak. the parcel went to the address of the account : the FAKE RETURN came from a PRISON IN Mississippi. for all i know , this may be a sight made up by ebay —please respond — this is just one of many instances
